poker king is surfing pokerstars site for the $2 million dollar turbo poker takedownDo you have some spare FPP's lying around in your Pokerstars account, and you aren't quite sure what to do with them?

If so, Pokerstars has a tournament just for you.

Next Sunday (February 17th, 14:30 ET) Pokerstars will be running a "Turbo Takedown" tournament with a $2 million dollar guarantee. The kicker is that there is only one way to buy into this tournament, and that is with FPP points. 10,000 of them to be exact.

There will be a maximum of 12,000 players allowed in this tournament. One of every three players will be paid, with first place receiving $200,000, second place receiving $120,000, third place receiving $80,000, all the way down to the 4000th place finisher who will receive $180 for their efforts.

All players will start with 3000 in chips and there will be ten minute levels, with the structure slowing after Level 18.

As far as I can see, the "Turbo Takedown" will run in place of the Sunday Hundred Grand next Sunday. However, all of the other normally scheduled events including the Sunday Million and Sunday Warm-up will still be running.

If you don't have 10,000 FPP points, then Pokerstars is running satellites around the clock in which you can parlay your smaller FPP totals into larger amounts. To sign up for these satellites, simply click on the Events > Special > FPP Satellites tabs.

To sign up for the actual "Turbo Takedown" event, then click on Tourney > Special and scroll down to the February 17th events. This event will almost certainly fill to capacity, so you should sign up as soon as possible.

It is unknown whether or not this will become a regularly scheduled tournament.
