-- poker king is punching a boxing bag --1. FTOPS XIV. The 14th edition of the FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) gets underway later today (November 4th).

The series will kick off at 21:00 ET with a $200+$16 NLHE 6-Max event with a $1,000,000 guarantee. This tournament will be hosted by Allen Cunningham.

There will be a total of 25 events and over $16 million dollars in guaranteed prize money in the series.

FTOPS XIV will begin later today, and end with the $2.5 million dollar $500+$35 NLHE main event on November 15th.

Erick Lindgren, Jennifer Harman and Nick Schulman are just some of the well-known pros who will be hosting FTOPS XIV events.

2. Phil Ivey Odds. Gamblers continue to put money down on Phil Ivey as the World Series of Poker main event final table draws even closer.

Bodog now has Phil Ivey at 7/2 to win the WSOP main event. This is despite the fact that Phil Ivey has less than ten million chips heading into the final table, which gets underway this weekend.

Only Darvin Moon (2/1) and Eric Buchman (3/1) have better odds to win the title at this point.

Jeff Shulman (4/1) and Steven Begleiter (11/2) both have significantly worse odds to win the main event at Bodog, despite both players having a major chip advantage over Phil Ivey.

I would love to know exactly how much money has been wagered on Phil Ivey compared to any of the other eight players at the final table..

3. UFC Invades "Poker After Dark". Taping continues for the newest season of "Poker After Dark".

A UFC-themed week was filmed yesterday. Here were the participants:

Randy Couture
Bruce Buffer
Dan Henderson
Patrik Antonius
Howard Lederer
Erick Lindgren

Howard Lederer posted a picture from the taping, which you can view here.
