-- Poker King and Full Tilt and Pokerstars logos - wide open arms --This is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends of the year for the poker world, as both Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars are hosting some very big tournaments.

If you are a poker player and have plans this weekend, then you may want to cancel them.

FTOPS XV wraps up this weekend with a number of events, including:

Event #22 - $2,500 + $120 NLHE (2 Days, $2 million Guaranteed)

Event #25 - $240 + $16 NLHE Knockout 6-Max ($800,000 Guaranteed)

Main Event - $500 + $35 NLHE ($2.5 Million Guaranteed)

Meanwhile, Pokerstars will be hosting a couple of major tournaments as well as part of their "F40: Forty Billionth Hand Celebration" promotion.

The Sunday Million this weekend will have a total of $4 million in guaranteed prize money, with the winner of the event receiving "at least" $1 million. This tournament begins at 16:30 ET on Sunday.

In addition, Pokerstars will be hosting a $40 Micro Million $1 million Guaranteed tournament, which will start at 14:30 ET on Sunday afternoon. This event will have a buy-in of just $40 and a total guaranteed prize pool of at least $1 million.

In addition to these online tournaments, the second event of the newly formed NAPT (North American Poker Tour) will get under way on Saturday at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

This $5k buy-in event will likely have a field of about 800-900 players, thanks in large part to the backing of Pokerstars and the fact that the event will be broadcast on ESPN2 later in the year.

As if this wasn't enough, the EPT Copenhagen will be wrapping up on Sunday, and the WPT Celebrity Invitational will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

A very big weekend in the poker world..
