$50,000 Poker Player's Championship To Kick Off ESPN's Coverage of 2010 World Series of Poker

ESPN's coverage of the 2010 World Series of Poker will kick off this Tuesday with the airing of the $50,000 Poker Player's Championship.

ESPN set the table for this year's coverage this past Tuesday with a "2010 World Series of Poker Preview" show. The first brand new episodes of the upcoming season will begin to air at 8 pm EST on July 27th.

As mentioned, the $50,000 Poker Player's Championship will be leading off ESPN's World Series of Poker schedule this year. The event, which was won by Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, will feature a number of the very best poker players in the world, including Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Daniel Negreanu.

Two episodes will air on Tuesday evening beginning at 8 pm EST. The first hour will feature action from the first four days of the $50k Poker Player's Championship, while the second hour will be focused entirely on the final table.

As usual, Norman Chad and Lon McEachern will be calling the action this year.

ESPN will be airing two new WSOP 2010 episodes every Tuesday evening from July 27th until November 9th (World Series of Poker final table).
