Below I have compiled a list of the online poker rooms that have made an effort to accommodate Mac users. Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars both offer stand-alone Mac software packages, which is why they have attained the highest ratings on our list.

Full Tilt Poker was the first major online poker room to offer Mac-friendly software.

This doesn't mean that the company just told their Mac users to download Windows emulation software.

Rather, they actually took the time and spent the money to port (transfer) their software over from the PC to the Mac.

This meant that Mac users could actually download the Full Tilt Poker software and actually have it run on their machines with no problems.

In addition, the Full Tilt Poker software for Mac users was not stripped of any of the features that were available to PC users.

FTP made sure not to exclude Mac users, and have in turn developed a loyal following of people who are devoted Apple fans.

Pokerstars followed in Full Tilt Poker's footsteps a short time later, as they eventually made Mac-friendly software available to its users as well.
