Gus Hansen - #1 Cash Player of 2011It seems like eons ago since the likes of Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey and Tom “durrrr” Dwan were battling it out on Full Tilt Poker.

The high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker took a major hit after “Black Friday”, as the site quickly moved to block the accounts of US players. This meant no Phil Ivey and no Tom Dwan.

A few months later, the AGCC suspended Full Tilt Poker’s licenses and the site shut its doors, bringing an end to the high stakes games and sending players scattering to Pokerstars and casinos in Macau.

Despite being shut down for more than half of 2011, Full Tilt Poker still produced 6 of the 10 biggest online cash game winners for the year, and 7 of the 10 biggest losers.
