The King reports on the latest from PCA (Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure) 2015 and LAPT (Latin American Poker Tour) BahamasAs the PCA (Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure) main event carries on, two major events of the poker festival, the $100,000 Super High Roller and LAPT Bahamas Main Event, have both been completed.

Steve O'Dwyer managed to navigate through a field that included 50 of the top poker players in the world to take down the $100,000 Super High Roller event for $1,872,580 late last night. The final table contained a number of very tough competitors, including the likes of Bryn Kenney, Sorel Mizzi and Scott Seiver, but in the end it was O'Dwyer that ended up finishing on top.

The final hand of the event occurred during heads-up play between O'Dwyer and the eventual runner-up, Roger Sippl. With the board reading Qh-8d-8c-2s-3s, Sippl elected to push all-in after the action had been checked after the flop and turn. O'Dwyer, after nearly five minutes of contemplation, elected to make the call with his Ace-high. Sippl flipped over the Js-Td and was sent to the rail in second place for $1,344,420.

Here is how the final table ended up finishing out:

1 Steve O'Dwyer, Ireland, $1,872,580

The LAPT Bahamas main event also reached its conclusion today after Josh Kay took down the event for $367,928.

Winning this event was not an easy task for Kay as he had the unenviable task of battling Martin Finger in heads-up play. Finger, who has a WSOP bracelet, EPT main event title and Super High Roller title to his name, entered heads-up play with the chip lead.

The momentum swung, however, and Kay eventually won after flopping a set of Nines after a flop of 8c-9c-5h. The turn brought the Th, pairing Finger who held Qd-Td. Kay re-raised all-in over the top of a bet from Finger and Finger eventually elected to make the call. The Qc on the river did not help Finger and Kay was named the winner.

Josh Kay took down $367,928 for the win while Martin Finger received $223,900 for his runner-up finish.
