High Stakes Poker Season 6 Begins Filming Later TodayPublished on November 11th, 2009 12:24 pm EST
The sixth season of "High Stakes Poker" will begin taping later today at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas.
The game, which will feature a minimum buy-in of $200,000, will include some of the very best poker players in the world. Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Daniel Negreanu and Barry Greenstein have all been announced as participants for season 6 of the show.
Subject to change, here is the line-up for today's session:
Yevgeniy Timoshenko was apparently supposed to play today, but was subbed out at the last minute for Phil Hellmuth.
Dwan is coming off of a three-day battle with "Isildur1" on Full Tilt Poker and will be appearing with little/no sleep. Dwan has dropped a substantial sum of money over the past few days, which should make his appearance on HSP even more interesting.
This should be a great season, and I can't wait for it to air in February.
