Pokerstars Limit Holdem Challenge - Promotional GraphicPokerstars' "Superstar Showdown" (which features Viktor "Isildur1" Blom) has been a big hit on Pokerstars, drawing tens of thousands of eyeballs from all across the world whenever there is a match.

Pokerstars is hoping to replicate this success with their new "Limit Hold'em Challenge", which will kick off this Saturday (5 pm ET) with a match between Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu and "rUaBot".

Here is how it will work. "KidPoker" and "rUaBot" will play 1,250 hands of $200/$400 Limit Hold'em across two tables. Both players will start with $75,000, and the winner will be the player who is up after all of the hands have been played (or after one player completely busts his opponent).

Negreanu is no stranger to these types of matches. He has battled Viktor "Isildur1" Blom twice in the "Superstar Showdown", winning one match (+$26,500) and losing another (-$150,000). Negreanu is only one of two players (Isaac Haxton is the other) to beat "Isildur1" in the "Superstar Showdown".

Negreanu also used to play high profile heads-up matches (of between $100,000 and $500,000) back when he was a poker host at the Wynn. Some of Negreanu's opponents at the Wynn included Barry Greenstein and Joe Cassidy.

On top of all of that, Negreanu is clearly on a hot streak as of late, as he recently took 6th place in the Super High Roller event at the EPT Grand Final ($409,279) and 2nd place in the EPT Grand Final High Roller event ($790,304) just a few days later.

The match between Negreanu and "rUaBot" will get underway at 5 pm ET this Saturday (May 5th).
