Given the money that is on the line, there can be no surprise that Erik Seidel is in attendance. If there is a super high buy-in tournament taking place, chances are that Seidel will be present.

Earlier this week, Seidel cashed for 4th place in the HK$ 196,000 + 4,000 No Limit Hold'em Suncity Cup. The tournament, which attracted many top players, was eventually won by Daniel Cates.

By finishing in fourth place in the event, Seidel walked away with a payday of approximately $100,000.

The cash was especially notable as it pushed Seidel past the $30 million mark in total lifetime earnings. As of the time that this article was written, Seidel had $30,070,264 in total lifetime live tournament cashes.

Seidel currently sits in 2nd place on the all-time money list, approximately $2.5 million behind Daniel Negreanu.
