The U.S. Poker Open 2018 - Tournament logo.Poker Central is following up their successful "Poker Masters" tournament series with the "U.S. Poker Open", which is set to run from February 1-9 in 2018.

The US Poker Open will consist of a total of eight events, all of which will have buy-ins of at least $10,000.

The series will be hosted at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Just like with the "Poker Masters" series, total earnings over the course of the US Poker Open will be added up, and the person who finishes with the most earnings at the end of the series will be named the US Poker Open champion and awarded with a championship trophy.

You can safely assume that there will be a number of prop bets between participating players, just as there was for the "Poker Masters" earlier this year.

According to Poker Central, the plan is to host "quarterly majors" that will include the Poker Masters, US Poker Open and Super High Roller Bowl.

Here is the complete schedule of US Poker Open events:

February 1 - Event No. 1: $10,000 No Limit Hold'em
February 2 - Event No. 2: $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha
February 3 - Event No. 3: $25,000 No Limit Hold'em
February 5 - Event No. 4: USPO $25,000 Mixed Game Championship
February 6 - Event No. 5: $10,000 No Limit Hold'em
February 7 - Event No. 6: $25,000 No Limit Hold'em
February 8 - Event No. 7: $25,000 No Limit Hold'em
February 9 - Event No. 8: $50,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event

The action will be streamed on PokerGo.com. You can safely assume that the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Fedor Holz, Phil Hellmuth and Erik Seidel will all be in attendance in February.
