Romanovsky Currently Sits at Top of Overall SCOOP Leaderboard With Seven Cashes

Pokerstars' has given its players a strong incentive to play as many SCOOP events as possible this year. In addition to cash payouts to those who finish at or near the top of the Low, Medium and High SCOOP leaderboards (Low pays out $5,000 to the person who finishes at the top of the leaderboard, while Medium and High pay out $7,500 and $10,000 respectively), the person who finishes at the top of the overall SCOOP leaderboard will receive a Platinum Pass to the Pokerstars Players NL Hold'em Championship that is valued at $30,000.

"RomeOpro" clearly wants that Platinum Pass, as he is currently sitting at the top of the Overall leaderboard with a total of 335 points. "Villepn" sits in second with 315 points, while "cal42688" is in third place with 280 points.

Romanovsky has a total of 7 cashes so far in this year's SCOOP, including two first place finishes as well as a second place finish.

Romanovsky got his SCOOP off to a strong start after taking down SCOOP-02-H ($1,050 NLHE) for $123,935.

In SCOOP-14-H, Romanovsky kept his rungood going by finishing in second place in the $25,000 buy-in event for $442,299.

As of that weren't enough, Romanovsky topped this off by winning SCOOP-16-H ($5,200 6-Max NLHE) for a total of $138,536.

In total, Romanovsky has well over $600,000 in cashes so far at this year's SCOOP and is the first player to win two SCOOP events so far in 2018.

The bad news for the players currently chasing "RomeOpro" on the Overall leaderboard? He is playing out of his mind right now.
