One of the best poker players in the game is back in the spotlight. It's hard to believe that it has been over 10 years since Viktor "Isildur1" Blom first took the world by storm on Full Tilt Poker.

It's been an up and down decade for Blom since that time, though one thing is certain - he is still one of the very best players in the world.

Blom proved it on Wednesday at the Super High Roller Bowl when he took down one tournament and finished second in another.

Due to the high buy-ins, these fields are teeming with quality players, so this was no easy feat for "Isildur1".

Blom's victory came in the $10,000 8-Max No Limit Hold'em event, which had a total guaranteed prize pool of $500,000.

The final table was stacked, with the likes of Blom, Christoph Vogelsang and Dan Smith fighting it out for the first-place prize of $213,750.

In the end, the Swedish phenom came out on top, besting Vogelsang during heads-up play to take down the top prize.

-

Blom also managed to finish in second place in the $25,000 event, collecting $365,500 for his efforts.

Dan Smith finished with the win, denying Blom his second Super High Roller Bowl title of the day.

-

In the end, Blom managed to walk away with over $500,000 in cashes on the day.

-

Blom doesn't tend to spend too much time playing tournaments, as he has professed a love for cash games.

"Isildur1" has proven to be more than capable in the tournament format, however, as he had nearly $3 million in total "live" tournament cashes prior to this week.
