The heads-up poker show has featured some great performances so far.The winning streak is over.

On Wednesday night, Tom "durrrr" Dwan defeated Phil Hellmuth in the third edition of the "High Stakes Duel" on PokerGo.

This ended Phil Hellmuth's winning streak on the show, as he had compiled seven straight wins up until that point, including three straight wins over both Antonio Esfandiari and Daniel Negreanu.

Phil Hellmuth now has the chance to challenge Dwan to a rematch over the next 72 hours, though the buy-in will be $200,000 if he does so.

Hellmuth seemed to be against the idea of a rematch shortly after losing to Dwan, though that could change over the next couple of days.

-

Unlike previous matches against Esfandari and Negreanu, Hellmuth jumped out to a quick lead, only to be caught by his opponent.

Over the course of the six-hour match, Hellmuth was unable to inflict any major damage on Dwan.

In a tip of the cap to their battle at the 2008 National Heads-Up Championship, Dwan ended up eliminating Hellmuth after cracking his Aces.

In the final hand of the battle, Hellmuth slowplayed pocket Aces. Dwan held 9s-3c.

After Dwan fired a 5,000 bet after a flop of 5c-2h-3h, Hellmuth went all-in and Dwan made the call due to Hellmuth's short stack.

Hellmuth flipped over his pocket Aces and was well in the lead.

The turn brought bad news for the "Poker Brat", however, as a 9 was flipped over by the dealer.

The river brought the 6 of clubs and Tom "durrrr" Dwan was declared the winner.

Will Hellmuth appear on the show again, or has he now had enough?

Either way, he turned in some great performances on the show.
