australian - crown poker - aussie millions - poker eventJeff "Actionjeff" Garza, a well-known name in the world of online poker, took down the Heads Up Championship at the Aussie Millions, taking down $100k in Australian dollars after besting Masaaki Kagawa in the finals. "Actionjeff" fell behind 1-0 in the best of three finals but came back to win after his A J held up against the A 8 of Kagawa.

Garza eliminated six opponents en route to victory in the $5300 buyin event, including:

Marius Torbergsen, Robin Bergren, Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi, David Sonelin, Xuan Nguyen, Masaaki Kagawa

Kagawa receives $60k for coming in second place. There were 64 entrants in the event, and the top eight spots paid.

This is Garza's second "live" victory of his young career. He took down an $1100 buy-in tournament at the Johnny Chan Poker Classic for $68k USD in 2007. Expect many more victories from Garza in the future, as he is certainly one of poker's best young talents.
