David Benyamine, a native of France where this event was held, captured the Grand Prix de Paris World Poker Tour event, besting such well-known names as Erick Lindgren and Daniel Negreanu.

With his victory, Benyamine won over 350,000 Euros, plus secured an entry to the World Poker Tour final to be shown in June. Jan Boubli from France came in second, and Georges Paravoliasakis from Greece came in 3rd. The total prize pool was over 900,000 euros. Here is the top 7 finishers:
