Ilari Sahamies, better known as "Ziigmund", is dominating the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker as of late, and is currently the biggest winner for the month of September. The volatile Finnish player is up almost $1.9 million dollars for the month of September over a total of 13,869 hands (according to HighStakesDB.com). With his recent performance, "Ziigmund" has dug himself out of a million dollar plus hole and is now up just over $600k on the year.

"Ziigmund" typically makes most of his money from Pot Limit Omaha. September has been no different, as "Ziigmund" has made just over $900k from the high stakes PLO games that have been running on the site. Surprisingly though, Sahamies has done very well in the high stakes NLHE and Omaha Hi/Lo games, making an additional $900k+ in those two games.

The rest of the top 10 most profitable players on Full Tilt this month is populated by some very well-known names.

Phil Ivey is currently up over $1.33 million in September. Ivey got off to an absolutely scorching start in September, winning just over a million dollars in a couple of days. Since then, he has cooled off a bit, and has been playing a bit less due to his commitments in London. Ivey's strong September has contributed to just over $3.5 million dollars worth of profits in the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker in 2008.

Next up on the list is Patrik Antonius, who has made $1.23 million dollars over 13,681 hands in September. All of the profits have come from the high stakes Omaha Hi/Lo games - Antonius has participated in some of the "RailHeaven" games which have been running September, but has not fared too well. In the month of September, Antonius has dropped about $300k in the high stakes NLHE games.

The top five is rounded out by Hac "trex313" Dang (+$982k) and "howisitfeellike" (+$936k). "trex313" is a remarkably consistent player who has made almost three million dollars on Full Tilt in 2008. The top ten list includes a few more familiar names, including David Benyamine (+$634k) and Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond (+338k).

Those are the biggest winners in September..

The biggest loser in September is none other than "patatino", who is heavily rumored to be Guy Laliberte, the poker-loving billionaire who has appeared on High Stakes Poker. Despite having won the biggest online poker pot in history this month, "patatino" still finds himself with a $1.22 million dollar loss in September. Laliberte drives the high-stakes cash games, and when he is active, the games are always full.

"elmariachimacho" and "LoLiNa" have both dropped over a million dollars plus in September as well, with "elmariachimacho" dropping $1.05 million and "LoLiNa" dropping $1.024 million dollars.

"Slaktarn", winner of the recent $25k Heads Up PLO tournament on Full Tilt Poker, and "SteveSung" round out the top five with losses of $952k and $776k respectively.
