Tobey Maguire followed fellow actor Ben Affleck's steps a few weeks ago by winning a poker tournament. Maguire won the Phil Hellmuth Poker Invitational, a $2000 buy-in event with 123 total players.
Maguire certainly doesn't need the first place prize money, considering the money he makes from the Spiderman franchise, but he did pull in over $95,000 for his win. There was a total prize pool of $246,000, and also included such names as Danny Masterson and Lang Lee.
With the ranks of poker playing actors swelling, don't be surprised to see another A-list celebrity capture another poker title soon.
