"dbfla" Wins $49,611.62 In MiniFTOPS XIV Event #1

Event #1 of MiniFTOPS XIV just wrapped up a few short hours ago, with "dbfla" taking home the $49,611.62 first place prize. A total of 16,711 players turned out for the $20+$2 No Limit Hold'em event, which ended up creating a total prize pool of $334,220. This easily surpassed the $250,000 guarantee, and will probably be a sign of things to come in the MiniFTOPS XIV series.
As mentioned, the winner, "dbfla", ended up taking home just under $50k for his victory. "Parus345" finished in second for $33,087.78, while "MickeyMouseSON" took third for $23,061.18.
There are two events scheduled for tonight (Thursday) - they are:
Event #2 - $20+$2 7-Game (6-Max), $30,000 Guarantee
Event #3 - $50+$5 NLHE 3xShootout, $30,000 Guarantee
MiniFTOPS XIV will feature a total of 25 events and over four million dollars worth of guaranteed prize money.
The main event, which is a $50+$5 NLHE tournament with a $600k guarantee, will begin at 17:00 ET on December 20th.
