North American Poker Tour (NAPT) To Be Aired on ESPN2
Published on February 16th, 2010 12:42 pm ESTAccording to ESPN.com, 16 original hours of the NAPT (North American Poker Tour) will be broadcast on ESPN2 starting in mid-April.
Joanna Krupa, as was already confirmed by Pokerstars a few weeks ago, will be one of the show's hosts.
Here is the preliminary ESPN2 North American Poker Tour broadcast schedule:
April 19: Venetian $25,000 high-roller bounty shootout (9-11 p.m. ET)
April 26: Venetian $25,000 high-roller bounty shootout (9 p.m. ET)
April 26: Venetian $5,000 main event (10 p.m. ET)
May 3: Mohegan Sun shootout (9-11 p.m. ET)
May 10: Mohegan Sun shootout (9 p.m. ET)
May 10: Mohegan Sun $5,000 main event (10 p.m. ET)
May 17: PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 high-roller (9-11 p.m. ET)
More air dates and times will be revealed once the NAPT finalizes the rest of their schedule for the year.
The NAPT not only has the marketing muscle of Pokerstars behind them, but they will also have 16 hours of tournament action being shown on ESPN2. The WPT (and PartyGaming) can't be too happy about this at all.
