The 2010 WSOP Tournament of Champions (TOC) is set to air on ESPN this Tuesday evening.

ESPN will be airing two one-hour episodes of the Tournament of Champions. The first episode will air at 8 pm, while the second will follow immediately after at 9 pm.

The 2010 Tournament of Champions was a freeroll that featured some of the top names in the poker world. Fans voted in 20 of the participants (Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu led the voting), while the remainder of the field was made up of Mike Matusow, Mike Sexton, Annie Duke (all former TOC winners), Joe Cada, Barry Shulman, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Andrew Barton.

The final table of the event featured some of the most recognizable poker players in the world, including Daniel Negreanu, Johnny Chan and Barry Greenstein.

It should be an entertaining couple of episodes on Tuesday night.

2. July High Stakes Update.

With the World Series of Poker coming to an end for most players in July, the high stakes action on both Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars finally started to heat back up.

"NEKOTYAN" finished as the biggest winner on Full Tilt Poker in July, as he ended up banking a little over $775k in total profits.

Patrik Antonius, who has been surging as of late, finished the month with approximately $614k in profits.

"URnotINdanger2" finished July with about $280k in profits, while "jungleman12" ended up banking about $242k.

Cole South posted the biggest loss in July, finishing the month nearly $500k in the red. Di "Urindanger" Dang (-443k), Tom "durrrr" Dwan (-430k), Ashton "theASHMAN103" Griffin (-289k) and Phil Ivey (-279k) all lost money in July as well.

There should be some decent action over the next six weeks before the WSOPE kicks off in mid-September.

If we are talking about high stakes cash games in July, then we have to also make mention of the games that have been taking place on Pokerstars as of late. These games have been centered around Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu, who decided to put in a fair bit of volume in the $100/$200 NLHE games on Pokerstars in July. The result? Negreanu went on a tear, going on a $400k heater, much to the dismay of his opponents.
