Vannesa Selbst at the World Series of Poker 2010 - Black JacketVanessa Selbst will look to win her second major tournament of the year when the Partouche Poker Tour main event resumes on Saturday, November 6th.

Here are the chip stacks of the final table participants:

Vanessa Selbst, 3,951,000
Fabrice Soulier, 3,652,000
Raouf Ibrahim, 3,492,000
Ali Tekintamgac, 3,289,000
Tommi Etelapera, 3,129,000
Raphael Kroll, 2,390,000
Soren Konsgaard, 1,073,000
Tobias Reinkemeier, 819,000
Cyril Andre, 600,000

Major poker media outlets weren't really covering this tournament, despite the fact that some of the biggest names in the poker world (Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, etc) decided to take part. This made updates for this event pretty hard to come by.

The tournament finished with a total prize pool of 5.5 million EUR ($7+ million USD). All nine final table participants are guaranteed a minimum of 110k Euros for making it this far, with the eventual winner taking home 1.3 million EUR ($1.65 million USD).

Like the World Series of Poker main event, the Partouche Poker Tour main event will now be paused until early November.

As mentioned, Vanessa Selbst will be looking for her second major tournament win of the year when the PPT main event final table gets underway in November. Selbst took down the NAPT Mohegan Sun main event in April for $750k.

In addition to her NAPT victory, Selbst also owns a WSOP bracelet ($1,500 PLO in June of 2008). She also has numerous WSOP final table appearances under her belt as well.

One more note - a victory in this event would vault Selbst into the #3 position on the all time women's money list.
