Viktor Blom Beats Scott Palmer by $61,182

Viktor "Isildur1" Blom came back from a small deficit to defeat Scott "urnotindangr" Palmer in the conclusion of their "Superstar Showdown" match on Sunday. Thanks to his latest victory, "Isildur1" is now 6-2 in the "Superstar Showdown" on Pokerstars.

The match between "Isildur1" and "urnotindangr" was a 5,000 hand battle that stretched over two consecutive Sundays. "urnotindangr" managed to finish with a $5,425 profit after last week's 2,500 hand session, but Blom was able to quickly turn the tide in yesterday's session and sail to an easy $61,182 victory.

The game of choice for yesterday's 2,500 hand session was $25/$50 No Limit Hold'em.

The turn brought the Qc.

"Isildur1" led out with a bet of $3,150, "urnotindangr" raised to $8,000, "Isildur1" re-raised to $12,850 and "urnotindangr" called.

The river brought the 2h.

"Isildur1" pushed all-in ($8,250) and "urnotindangr" quickly made the call. The two players turned over:

"Isildur1" took down the $47,000 pot with his full house, Queens full of Aces.
