Phil Ivey Up Nearly $300,000 in September

Phil Ivey, who plays as "RaiseOnce" on Pokerstars, is up nearly $300,000 through the first 14 days of September. Ivey, who is currently in the midst of multiple court cases involving Crockfords and the Borgata, has been unusually active this month, as he has logged a total of 16,922 hands over the first two weeks of September.

"Fjutekk" is just behind Ivey with a total profit of $259,766 so far in September, while Jens "Jeans89" Kyllonen occupies the third spot with a total profit of $176,099 for the month.

Other well known players who have done well for themselves in September include Ike Haxton (+$153,006), "CHUFTY" (+$58,081) and "WCGjRider" (+$20,830).

The list of the biggest cash game losers is filled with some very notable names. Topping that list is Viktor "Isildur1" Blom", who is currently down $517,477 over 35,969 tracked hands so far this month. As mentioned, "Isildur1" has seen his bankroll fluctuate tremendously over the past month or so as he has put in a great deal of volume on Pokerstars.

Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky is the second biggest loser in September with a total hit to his bankroll of $425,008. Sam "Tr1cky7" Trickett has dropped $127,710 so far in September, while Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates has lost $120,846.

Full Tilt Poker recently elected to cease all of the high stakes cash game action on their site, which has meant that any high stakes games of note are either taking place on Pokerstars or in a brick and mortar casino (Las Vegas, Macau, etc).
