"w00ki3z." is the Pokerstars alias of Daniel Cates, who is likely best known to people as "jungleman12" on Full Tilt Poker.

Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates has quite the interesting story. In 2007, Cates was working full-time in McDonald's, slaving away at a job that he absolutely hated. Just three short years later, Cates was doing battle against the likes of Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Patrik Antonius on Full Tilt Poker under his "jungleman12" alias.

Cates got his start in online poker playing $5 and $10 SNGs, just like millions of other poker players throughout the world. Cates then decided to try out cash games, dipping his toe into the pool by playing $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em. Within a year, Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates was playing $10/$20 NLHE. Cates continued to move up after that, quickly establishing himself as one of the toughest online heads-up players in the world.

2010 was Cates' breakout year, as he managed to make over $5.5 million on Full Tilt Poker, finishing the year as the site's most profitable player. Cates, who had been toiling at McDonald's just three short years earlier, was now a multi-millionaire and battling it out against the very best poker players in the world.

Cates also accepted the "durrrr Challenge" in 2010, and is currently in the midst of his battle against Tom "durrrr" Dwan. If Cates wins the "challenge", then he will receive $1.5 million from Dwan, in addition to anything that was won over the course of the challenge. If Cates ends up losing to Dwan, then he will have to cough up $500,000.
