KidPoker Profile 2016
As you are likely well aware, the "KidPoker" account on Pokerstars belongs to none other than Daniel Negreanu.
Daniel Negreanu has played 100% of his online hands (as far as I am aware, anyways) on Pokerstars since signing his sponsorship deal with the site back in June of 2007. Daniel Negreanu has since become the face of Pokerstars, and is prominently featured in most of the site's commercials and other marketing materials.
You have to give Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu credit - in an effort to keep improving his game, Negreanu has decided to spend time in some of the biggest cash games on Pokerstars in an attempt to learn from the "young Internet kids". Most of the "old guard" tend to shy away from doing battle against the young guns, but Negreanu has thrown himself right into the mix in order to improve his game. Many poker players don't have the humility to admit that they might not be the best player in the game, but Negreanu does. Having said that, "KidPoker" has done quite well for himself in the high stakes cash games on Pokerstars.
There is not much that I can tell you about Daniel Negreanu that you don't already know. He is one of the most popular poker players in the world. He has over $14 million in total lifetime tournament cashes. He is proficient in many different games. He excels at reading his opponents. He owns four World Series of Poker bracelets.
Here are a few things that you might not have known about Negreanu:
1. He was formerly known as "sliminem" on Pokerstars before switching to "KidPoker".
2. His deal with Pokerstars reportedly earns him between 2-4 million per year.
3. He is extremely outspoken against Cereus/UB/Absolute Poker.
According to PTR, Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu is currently up approximately $200k lifetime on Pokerstars over a total of 40,000+ hands. A large number of these hands have taken place at $100/$200 NLHE, where he has earned nearly $30k playing against some of the top players in the world.
